CHARGE and Zimi Are Electrifying the Joburg-Durban Freight Route – Here's How

Zero Carbon Charge (now CHARGE) and logistics aggregator Zimi have signed a three-year deal to electrify freight operations along the N3 corridor between Johannesburg and Durban. Two new off-grid, solar-powered charging stations launch in May 2026, with reserved capacity for Zimi's electric delivery fleets. No Eskom required.
