Mobile mechanic platform Michanic is shifting gears and moving into the B2B space with a dedicated fleet service called MiFleet. This new offering is designed to help businesses manage their vehicles with the same convenience and efficiency Michanic has long provided to individual clients.
Their platform allows drivers to book qualified mechanics who come to you (at home, work or anywhere convenient) with transparent pricing, real-time tracking and digital service records.
The Journey from Michanic to MiFleet
When we first featured Michanic back in 2023, they were making waves by connecting motorists directly to trusted mechanics, even for out-of-warranty vehicles.
Since then, Michanic has expanded its network of vetted mechanics, added new features and grown across major South African cities, making car maintenance simpler, faster and more reliable for everyday drivers. Their approach has brought reliability and convenience to an industry that often feels complicated and frustrating.
Scaling up for business
Now, Michanic is expanding that vision to businesses with vehicle fleets. Companies can book and manage maintenance for multiple vehicles directly through the app, streamlining scheduling, tracking and payments in one easy platform.
The fleet service is already live and ready for businesses to explore on their website, with options including onsite fleet maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, which SA companies and fleet managers can book digitally to minimise fleet downtime.
Driving into the future
MiFleet and Michanic are also strategically aligned with the SA financial services provider, MotoVantage, which offers a range of vehicle service and maintenance plans, as well as scratch & dent cover and repairs, credit life and tyre & rim cover.
